I’ve often heard people ask if a preamp makes much of a difference or not? That’s a great question. Today, I put an Audio Research 6SE preamp into my system and well, the difference isn’t small. Better imaging, better detail, and a bit more high frequency resolution. The BIG difference though is the amount of bass! I thought my subs were cranked up, but when I checked, they weren’t even on! Excellent so far. It just sounds more real.

We just received a beautiful pair of Harbeth Super HL5 speakers in a eucalyptus veneer. These speakers are in near perfect condition with original boxes but don’t come with stands. These Harbeth speakers were hand made in England and are known for natural sound with spectacular imaging. We have one pair only on offer for $3,000. These are a real treat.

I just received the BAT VK-90 tube preamp and put it into my system. Wow! The speakers just disappear 🫥 completely. Astonishing imaging with depth and height to the soundstage. Let me know if you want to have a listen or conversation about BAT.
