I love creating. I really do.

But sometimes, beadwork feels like a love-hate relationship.

I love the process, the colors, the tiny details, and the feeling of making something with my own hands. But trying to keep up with orders, markets, and demand can sometimes suck the joy right out of it.

There are days I want to bead all day, and days I don’t want to pick up a needle at all.

I’m learning that staying true to myself as an artist means finding a balance between what my business wants from me and what I need as a creator.

I love this… but, sometimes it’s a battle.

AFN prep is real!

There’s something so special about creating with my hands.

I hope I never lose the love and joy I feel when I’m making something from nothing. Whether I’m beading, painting, sewing, or simply working with my hands, there’s a deep sense of satisfaction and pride that comes with creating.

But the greatest reward is knowing that something I made with love finds its way into someone else’s life and brings them a little bit of joy.

I’m so grateful I get to create, share, and keep this love of making alive.

There’s something incredibly fulfilling about choosing to work in my passion.

I’m so grateful for the success it has brought me, not just in sales, but in community, education, connections, sharing, and the opportunity to reach and connect with communities beyond my own.

To me, true success is so much bigger than numbers. It’s being present. Showing up for my community, supporting friends and family, learning, teaching, connecting, and creating something that feels meaningful.

I’m grateful every day that I get to do what I love, with people I love, and that the journey continues to open doors to so many new connections and possibilities.
