This is a wonderfully soft cotton, easy to knit with, would be great for chemo patients. The little baby hat is made with other colors in the ball that were left over, will go to the food bank this fall.

My sales rep gave me this ball of yarn awhile ago. It has been nagging me but wanted to finish 2 sweaters i started last year. Finally decided to make this hat. Not a big fan of greens but love this sage, the yarn is cumulus by juniper moon, an amazingly soft cotton and wonderful to knit. The ball also fades to peach and has a warm brown. I have not found a new project but have a perfect one for this yarn so deciced to order, wouldn't you know it is out of stock, ordered 3 other color, which will be here in a day oe so, maybe one of those will work, so hard to tell colors on the internet.

Finally off the needles last night, still needs washed and blocked but done. Is a replacement sweater for a sweater i made for husband 60 yrs ago that he keeps wearing in public, condition is not what i want people seeing!

Pattern from hayfield, the essential aran book. Yarn is from a farm in Minnesota. I do not stock the yarn. Was a difficult knit for my old hands, could only manage 2 or 3 rows a night. Am happy with it, will block when weather changes. Jim said to hot to try on.

Finished a pr of socks tonight, my car, Doc office project, seem to take a long time. Yarn is a salesman sample, only info on label is inca cotton 100% cotton. Have not done 100% cotton before, will be interesting to see how it is to wear and how it machine washes.

My job this summer is to try and get yarn off the top shelf as i can't reach anymore and don't want to use a ladder...so check out the website as i have started a clearance sale of both yarn and patterns. I said i was going to do better and post more often...my hand limit the amount of time i can knit so don't get much done and not much new product coming in as have way to much anyway. info under photo

I have not posted in a long time, so many issues since January, starting with the ice storm that caused leaks around the chimney, trying to get it fixed, they have been out 3 times, still leaking. Had to take up a soaked grass rug, had move all the stock in that area, heaped against the wall to clean the mess up. Decided to paint the floor, took 2 coats, rearranged all the shelving away from the leaking so i could find product again. Some how posting just did not get done. I have knit a few more hats, finished a summer sweater that still needs blocked, finish a knit along afghan project, started a complicated aran sweater that had an error in it?? and my take along project is a pr of socks.

this is the afghan, not a good picture, was a Noro Knit Along, pattern are available on Ravelry or Knitting Fever website. I used Ayatori and A La Mode instead of silk garden called for. also only did 5 of the 6 squares as i did not want it do big, is not 42x42" nice lap size. With the 5th square made a pillow. A fun project to learn various textured stitched.
