🕯️ Friday, September 25th 🕯️

Last night, we made a trip out to see the Candle Keeper.
With the craft show tomorrow, we were hoping to convince him to part with a few things from the cabin. We expected tea, maybe a candle or two, and probably the usual look that tells us we’re asking too many questions.
Instead, he surprised us.
Sitting on the workbench was that little tin we told you about last week.
Only this time, it had a label.

COCO CHERRY
Chocolate. Cherry. Tea. 🍫🍒☕

Apparently while we were busy wondering what he was testing, the Candle Keeper was busy finishing it.
And somehow, he even let us leave the cabin with some.
So tomorrow, Coco Cherry Tea will be making its first appearance at the craft show.
We only have a limited amount because, according to him, “You don’t need all of it.”
We strongly disagree.
But when the Candle Keeper hands you a box and closes the cabin door, you take the hint.
If you’re coming to see us tomorrow, you may want to find the Coco Cherry before the Assistants decide to start “quality testing” it ourselves. 👀
And yes...
There are still two empty spaces on that workbench.

It’s been a little while since the Candle Keeper’s Assistants have been out and about… 🕯️🍵

But this Saturday, we hope you’ll come see us at NAMIWalks Lake County at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Painesville! 💚

This one means a little more to us. Mental health is something very close to our hearts, and we’re grateful to be part of an event that helps build a stronger, more connected community while supporting individuals and families affected by mental health conditions.

We’ll be there with some of your Candle Keeper favorites, so stop by, say hello, do a little shopping, and most importantly, come support a wonderful cause.

🕯️ The Candle Keeper’s Assistants have been busy again...

We’re excited to announce that we have acquired another new location for The Candle Keeper! 🌿☕🕯️

You’ll soon be able to find a small selection of The Candle Keeper's products inside Illumin8 Wellness in Painesville, Ohio.

This location will be a little different from our full tea carts. Our shelfs at Illumin8 will feature:

🕯️ Our Mini Soy Candle Collection
🎁 Coming soon: Mystery Tea Boxes!

Our Mystery Tea Boxes will be the perfect little sample box for anyone wanting to discover their new favorite tea. A fun mix of flavors, a little surprise, and maybe a tea you never would have picked for yourself. 👀☕

Small shelf. Cozy things. Just enough Candle Keeper magic to make the trip with us. ❤️

The Assistants are still getting everything ready, so keep watching the page for photos and more details once the new shelf is stocked!

And yes... somehow The Candle Keeper keeps finding more places for us to take care of. We’re beginning to think he has a plan he hasn’t told us about. 👀🕯️

🕯️ Friday, September 18th 🕯️

Five days ago, we told you about the light in the woods.
We still haven’t gotten an explanation.
Which, at this point, is becoming fairly normal around here.
But something else has changed.
One of those empty spaces on the Candle Keeper’s workbench is no longer empty.
There’s a small tin sitting there now.
No label.
No instructions.
Just a spoon, a few scattered tea leaves... and the unmistakable smell of chocolate.
We asked him what he was working on.
He looked at us for a moment and said:
“It isn’t ready yet.”
Then he took the tin away.
So naturally, we have questions.
And naturally, he isn’t answering them.
We can tell you this much...
Something new is being tested in the cabin. 🍫☕
And if what we smelled is any indication, you may want to keep an eye on the tea carts.
There are still two empty spaces on that workbench, too.
We haven’t forgotten about those.

Six days ago, we told you about the three empty spaces on his workbench.
We still don’t know what they’re for.
But this morning, the Candle Keeper left the cabin carrying something wrapped in an old cloth.
Naturally, we followed him.
That was probably our first mistake.
He disappeared down this path.
We took this photo just before he disappeared from sight.
Then we noticed the light.
Look closely.
There’s a light back there...
and we’re fairly certain there isn’t supposed to be one.
We considered going farther.
We also considered that we enjoy being employed.
So we’re waiting.
For now.

We found something on the porch this evening.
Not a package.
Not one of his notes.
Just an old wooden box sitting beside the lantern.
We asked him about it.
He looked at the box. Then at us.
“Leave it.”
So we did.
A few hours later, the box was gone.
We probably would have forgotten about it...
except there are now three empty spaces on his workbench.
And if there's one thing we've learned about the Candle Keeper, it's that he doesn't clear space without a reason.
September, apparently, has begun.
