In 1987, the owners of Gardens of the World had a vision - to expand the services and knowledge of their landscaping division to the general public. The first garden center opened in 1987 in Andover, New Jersey. The second garden center opened in 2005 in Mine Hill, New Jersey. Both locations are family owned and operated, and fully staffed with friendly, knowledgeable people. Today we welcome the

public to come share in the vast array of products and services available at both garden centers. Whether you are just planting your spring annual beds, or looking to landscape your entire yard, we have the know how to help you design, select, and properly install your new plant material. We import plant material from only the finest growers throughout the country. We also have over 20,000 sq ft combined total “Outdoor Living” showroom space on display. We carry lines from some of the finest outdoor patio furniture manufacturers in the country. To complement your patio set, we are a distributor for Outdoor Great Rooms’ full-line of pergolas, firepits and accessories. We carry a wide selection of Weber grills and accessories. When you visit our showrooms, you will also see a full line of complementary products such as statuary, pottery, umbrellas, gardening decorations, and cushions.

Meet the PJM Rhododendron!

This shrub is a beautiful addition to your landscape as it is a true staple. It’s hardy, has beautiful flowers in the spring, and evergreen!

Small, leathery evergreen leaves that turn an attractive bronze, mahogany, or purple color during winter before returning to green in spring. Masses of lavender-pink to rosy-purple blooms in early spring, often flowering around the same time as forsythia. Typically 3–6 feet tall and wide, forming a dense, rounded shrub.

Forever Goldy® Arborvitae (Thuja plicata ‘4EVER’) is a striking evergreen prized for its vibrant golden foliage that retains its color year-round. Its narrow, upright habit makes it an excellent choice for adding vertical interest without taking up much space.

Mature Size: 10–12 ft. tall × 3–5 ft. wide
Growth Rate: Moderate, approximately 12–18 inches per year
Sun Requirements: Performs best in full sun for the richest golden color, but tolerates part shade.

Landscape Uses: Ideal for privacy screens, narrow hedges, foundation plantings, property borders, entryways, and as a colorful specimen or accent plant. Its slim profile fits well in smaller landscapes and provides year-round structure and vibrant contrast against darker evergreens.
