September is looking a little… unhinged😅

We’ve been a little quiet over here lately, but we promise we didn’t disappear. We’ve just been behind the scenes getting all our ducks somewhat in the same general vicinity before the crazy season officially begins.
And apparently we decided the best way to ease into it was to make September absolutely PACKED.

Markets, music, rescue fundraisers, concerts… and whatever other chaos we manage to add between now and then. 🖤

So here’s where you can find us this month!

For all my bookish people who were VERY excited about this week’s ACOTAR announcement… meet one of the Alternative Waves family members…. Rhysand Charles Our very own Bat Boy 🦇🖤

And how fitting that the announcement came right around the 2 year anniversary of his Gotcha Day 🥹
Rhys originally came to us as a foster through a local rescue and lasted a whopping 23 days before we officially made him ours!

He’s now my permanent shadow, has absolutely no concept of personal space, and is one of the reasons supporting local animal rescues became such a big part of what we do with our markets.

So while everyone else is celebrating more ACOTAR, we’re also celebrating 2 years with our little Rhysand🖤

Today was HOT. Like… disrespectfully hot. 🥵 But you guys once again SHOWED UP AND SHOWED OUT.

The bands were AMAZING and absolutely rocked the place. 🤘
Our vendors were incredible, even though I think the heat tried to take all of us out. 😅
And every single person who came out, rocked with us, supported the vendors, supported the rescue, bought raffle tickets, hung out and embraced the chaos… THANK YOU.

We are beyond honored that you guys keep showing up for these crazy ideas of ours and SO excited that we get to keep doing this. 🖤

Seriously, today was one for the books.

Riffs & Rescues, you were HOT, sweaty, loud, chaotic and absolutely worth it. 🤘🐾
