“I am an artist of many mediums, with a focus on pottery, large format photography, and mural painting. I own and operate Relic Emporium, a community art studio in Angola, IN. I teach classes for all ages and skill levels and make custom creations. My work is usually bright and bold with incorporated elements of nature. I enjoy exploring old processes and rediscovering methods of the past. Creating lasting, meaningful wares is paramount in my ambitions. I care deeply about the functionality of my work and its ability to stand the trials of time. Constantly exploring new techniques drives me to create truly unique and original artwork. I strive to offer quality products for a fair price, while sharing knowledge with others along the way- thereby gaining credence and gratification through self expression.”

Bonus crosswalk mural complete- just in time for school! I love working with these wonderful people, and we've gotten pretty good at making public art with a purpose 😊 Special thanks to Alison (city coordinator) who did the real work behind the scenes to make these projects come to life- and the crew at Angola Street Dept for keeping us safe and sharing their talent. Cool stuff happens when we work together, and the fun we had got trapped in all those colors! Thanks, guys- job well done ❤️

I love this show- HOTC - Art Fort Wayne knows how to put it on! Today and tomorrow 10-5. There are so many cool artists around the fountain, YLNI Farmers Market | Fort Wayne, IN, and the Lawton Park flea market all within a short walk. The weather is perfect! 😁

!More ART in Angola! The new crosswalk murals are poppin' 😁 Its always wonderful working with Angola Street Dept and the City. I really couldn't have done it without my crew:) Thanks so much to all of you involved with this project- and for all the kind words shared in passing!

🎨🚸 Crosswalk mural installation begins next week on Williams Street near Sheets Park. This pedestrian safety initiative was made possible through a grant from Health by Design and Safe Routes to School.

⚠️ If you are traveling through the area next week, please be mindful of crews and volunteers working on the murals.

🌟 We can’t wait for the community to see the new artwork around town while also helping students get to school safely! 👟🎨

A whole lotta heart went into this space! Seeing this alley transform from rough sketches to reality has been so cool! I tried to include a little something for everyone, and it holds so many thoughtful elements. The concept direction for the space was to amuse and uplift the visitors- while embracing the theme "we rise by lifting others". The design was intended to spark consciousness, promote positive change, & encourage cooperation (inspired by "imagine" -John Lennon). Multiple pieces on display are the result of a collaboration with the artists at RISE. Wonderful friendships were formed, and laughter+memories were captured in a LOT of paint! Check out the video by Noah DeVille linked in comments. We're all bound through a common existence- in this city & on this earth. Whether you connect with the butterflies, fish, giraffe, or the ants- we get to share this place. Let's come together often to enhance this precious experience. It's soo easy- spread kindness & be good! To all of you who stopped to share your company while I was painting- I remember. So many long days were spent in this alley, and so many more painting at Relic...all the while, I stayed focused. It's all out there now- so go enjoy a break, reset, and leave with renewed intention & a sense of wonder!
The circle will be alive with creative energy today from 4-6! The new sculptures will be unveiled, and the artists will be on site to share their stories & connect. The art ALWAYS means more when you've met the maker. Many of the pieces have a message that will change how you perceive the work. Making successful art can take a lot of time and dedication- from honing skills, building a portfolio, generating the ideas, landing shows, and doing the actual work until it's done (regardless of obstacles)...whoa! This is definitely worth celebrating!!
I'm so grateful for the opportunity to share my skills & for those who did the real work behind the scenes to make this project possible. Thank you, Angola, for supporting the arts and seeing the importance of vibrant public spaces in the community. It unites us! All you need to do is go take a look at the art & try to pick your favorite! 😁

⭐️SHEETS PARK GRAND OPENING 5/30 10-2⭐️

This space already holds so many wonderful memories- and it's only just beginning! Many thanks to the dedicated people, businesses, and generous organizations who collaborated to construct the coolest park I have ever seen 😁 I am so fortunate to have been able to add a little color to it (with some help from the volunteers representing FIST, , Angola Parks and Recreation , and ).

It was a pleasure to work with everyone involved and to be able to watch this park come together in real time. Great job, ! Steuben County Tourism Bureau Congrats, Angola!!

Now- take the kids and grandkids to play often...make memories and new friends. Meet up with old friends, play tag, swing, slide...soak in the sun. Have FUN...forever.
