New painting in process.
Started this painting this afternoon.
Bluejay on a crab apple branch.
Acrylics on 11 x 13 canvas.
Started with a sketch and then began adding background and black and white on the bird.
So far I have about an hour and a half into the project. It’s early but looks promising.

Here’s the finished painting.
“Jeremiah” The Bullfrog.
I painted this in remembrance of a large bullfrog that made his home in one of our egress window wells and would watch television with me. 🤣
I eventually took him to a nearby pond.
8” x 10” acrylics on canvas.
