Nature really said "let me show you how vibrant it all could be" and humans went and made our modern world in monochrome. Even butterflies are losing their vibrance to better survive a world increasingly covered in grayscale. Planting a garden is a beautiful act of rebellion in a society designed to foster disconnection with our own planet. Even a couple small pots of flowering herbs can become an oasis to our precious, busy pollinators and encourage the biodiversity we so desperately need to preserve. That's part of my 'why' for growing flowers. Every hummingbird, bee, and butterfly that stops by the garden, every tree frog that finds the perfect spot on a leaf to sunbathe - small steps towards the continuation of our shared, colorful world.

Vibrance and diversity go hand and hand, from plants and pollinators to human beings. The world's "garden" of human beings wouldn't be nearly as vibrant without the LGBTQIA+ community. A very happy pride month to the most loudly and proudly loving humans ever, Sunburst Blooms will always be a safe space for you, for us. 🌈 🌈 🌈
