ReUse Center of Ann Arbor The ReUse Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible! Just drive through the gates and look for the friendly ReUse Staff.

Founded in 1996 by Recycle Ann Arbor, the ReUse Center is a grassroots environmental success story, thanks to the involvement of its donors, buyers and volunteers. Your donations and purchases of reusable items help to conserve resources and energy, while reducing waste in our community. All proceeds from the ReUse Center go directly toward maintaining the facility, hiring staff and supporting oth

er waste reduction activities in the community. Donating is easy and convenient

It’s easy and convenient to drop off items at the ReUse Center. Unloading and loading is assistance is available. The ReUse Center also offers material pick-ups for local residents, businesses, builders and remodelers. Items must be of individual high resale value to qualify. Hey folks! Thursday, November 12th we will be giving away a variety of desks and chairs from 900am - 1200pm, or until everything is gone. WE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING DONATIONS! If you are need of some desks, chairs, tables, filing cabinets, RAA travel mugs, "recycled art", or a two wheel hand truck. Stop by.

We will set the items in the parking lot in front of the gate– come and help yourself. Some of the desks are heavy, so bring help for moving items. Thanks!

We are heavy-hearted to announce the Reuse Center’s permanent closure (2420 S. Industrial Hwy, Ann Arbor, MI 48104.) We did not make this decision lightly; the Reuse Center- its mission, staff, and customers are dear to us. However, in light of the Covid-19 pandemic and the challenges of implementing sufficient health and safety protocols at a thrift store along with an inability to negotiate fair and sustainable rent terms with our landlord, it is not feasible for us to reopen.

This will not be the end of Recycle Ann Arbor's engagement with the Reuse Community, merely a pause, as we re-envision what our role in the reuse community will be.

We thank you for supporting reuse and recycling in the Ann Arbor area.

All Recycle Ann Arbor divisions will be closed for Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 7th. Curbside recycling routes will be delayed one day, happening from Tuesday, Sept 8th to Saturday, Sept. 12th. Happy Labor Day.
