We’ve been having the best week ever at our annual Know Obstacles Music Camp for musicians with special needs and disabilities.

Our campers have been working hard on a show stopping performance that will debut tomorrow at 2pm at the EMU School of Music & Dance Alexander building.

This summer, we are offering the Know Obstacles Music Camp, an interactive therapeutic music experience designed for individuals with a range of special needs. The camp will provide a unique, five-day learning environment where participants can engage in structured musical jams focusing on vocals, instruments, and drum circles. There is a performance for all campers on the last day of camp. No prior musical experience is required, as instruments are provided, and parents and caregivers are encouraged to join in the fun!

Dates: June 15- June 19, 2026 from 10am-12pm; 1-3pm
Recommended Ages: 8 and up
Location: Eastern Michigan Music School
Cost: $290 half day / $525 full day
