Business in a Box!
After six profitable and fabulous years, it’s with great sadness that Jacki and I are closing the doors of Word of Mouth Style. As we both head in new, exciting directions, we are hoping to find a Keeper of The Keys to our buckle empire! We have successfully fleshed out this business over the past six years and are willing to not only share all of our supplies and product, but our loyal customer base, our solid reputation, and our business savvy.
This is an INCREDIBLE opportunity for someone who is looking to make money, have fun, and start a new business NOW. This is the perfect time of year to get your feet wet, with plenty of local holiday shows and bazaars happening everywhere. The business is turn-key and includes everything from ready-made buckles to hundreds of assorted sized leather straps. For locals around the DC, MD, VA area, we can also provide a list of previously attended shows, contact information, and past profits.
While this business could easily be a year-round gig, Jacki and I only worked 6 months out of the year, taking summers and the holidays off to be with our families. Our show season spanned weekends from March-May and September-December. For three years, we also featured our products in a many boutiques. And throughout our six years have always also had an on-line business to go hand-in-glove with working our shows and wholesale markets.
Jacki and I are willing to sit down with you to discuss how to start the business - registering for state and federal taxes, bank accounts and credit card payments, and setting up and working an on-line store. With almost 800 followers on Facebook, it will be easy to transfer our client base to jump start their holiday shopping and your immediate profits.
We also will spend time with you showing you exactly how to make the buckles and where to order the wholesale parts - probably the most valuable and time consuming part of starting this business. It took us countless months to figure out the best equipment and products to use to turn out the highest quality buckles that provide the highest profit margin. We have a proven method of production and over two dozen successful designs and patterns most frequently requested by our clients.
It has been an absolute gift to have created and run this business successfully and profitably for the past six years.
