As Brett said in his post, Hatteras needed a good day after the pummeling it look during this weeks nor’ Easter.
Whether you are into wind sports, surfing, fishing, or just hanging out at the beach, Hatteras is a special place. Wishing all of our friends down there a speedy recovery from the storm.

Hatteras Island needed that!! Good fun had all day with the crew. And an especially cool moment here, as I find a Barrel while my Dad watch as he stopped to check the surf! ❤️

Capital SUP ‘s warehouse sail
Is this Saturday. I’ve been over there the last few days helping clean up and set up. They have a bunch of the Kanulock locking tie downs on sale super cheap, as well as other odds and end. If you know anyone looking for an inexpensive all around board, they have several of then also. I won’t be there, but Kevin has my 14x28” available to sell $1000. 14’ board bags too!

For a long time aftermarket fins were a big part of our business both for windsurfing, surfing and to some degree SUP. We are saddened to hear that Rainbow Fin founder and owner Glen DeWitt passed away. Both Saunders and I talked to Glen and his daughter Sarah several times at trade shows over the years. In addition to seeing all the cool new products at the trade shows and events, it was always special to meet the people behind the products we sold. Our condolences to Sarah, her family and the entire Rainbow crew.

I found this on the beach at my local launch this morning.
Hopefully the person made it in ok. It was gone when I got back in from my paddle. Maybe that’s why some people call inflatable SUPs “blow-ups”. 🤪 Seriously, whether inflatables or fiberglass and especially carbon boards try to keep them out of the sun on these super hot days.
Be careful with boards and padded bags. Invest in a UV cover from Victory Koredry or Vamo for when your board is on the roof of your vehicle.
