Alpaca Stardust might be one of the most fun yarns in the shop right now. It’s soft, fluffy, and has just enough shimmer to make even a simple stitch pattern feel a little special.
We’ve been playing around with pattern ideas for it, and Madelyn already gave us a very convincing example with her LIND by the Woolfolk Design Team in Lightning Green. The oversized collar and simple shape really let the yarn do the work, and now we’re fully on board with the whole collar/dickie moment.
For something a little more ambitious, we love OGDEN by Veta Romanenkova. All of those cables would catch the light beautifully in Alpaca Stardust, and we keep coming back to the idea of making it in Modern Love Pink.
And if you want a smaller project before committing to a full sweater, ODE by the Woolfolk Design Team would be such a good option. The cable texture would look gorgeous in the Silver colorway.
