We were honored to be a stop on the “Driving the Vote for Women’s Equality” tour this month. The tour follows the historic 1916 cross-country route taken by suffragists to fight for voting rights. Stopping in 25 states, this beauty(looking exceptional in front of the shop), a 1914 Golden Flyer II, Saxon made its way to DC last night. Author, and owner of the Saxon, was in the shop signing her book, Driving the Vote for Women: An American Journey for Suffrage. Check out for information on this tour and to add your signature.

This Sunday, 5:30pm, Patricia Henley will be here to sign her newest collection of stories, Apple & Palm, releasing March 10th to the general public. Taking place in a fictional Western Maryland town, Whistle Pig, these stories explore the community’s defining moments with tenderness and clarity— the place, the people, the land, all connected in memory and moments.
