Legend has it that during WWII, a lone challenge coin saved the life of a downed French pilot as he made his way through occupied Germany. Upon his arrival at Allied lines, this small token was his only proof of allegiance. Instead of ex*****on, he receive a bottle of wine.

To this day, if a challenger asks to see your coin and you can produce it (effectively calling their bluff) they owe you a drink!
