For those who love their dogs… this is for you! 🐾

Here are a few dog-themed magnets I’ve made, along with a couple I’m still working on.

I’m having a lot of fun experimenting with different designs, colors, shapes, and images to come up with magnets that are a little different from what you normally see.

If you’re a dog person, you already know… you can never have too much dog stuff! 😂🐶

And I’m just getting started.

More dog magnets coming soon!

Ever wonder how I make the magnetic part of my custom magnets?
Each magnet gets its own custom-cut magnetic backing. I don't just slap a piece of magnetic sheet on the back and call it done.
Every piece is cut specifically to fit the magnet I'm making.
If you're going to do something, do it the best you can.
That's the kind of attention to detail I put into every Signdog magnet.

Part of the fun of creating something new is figuring out how to make it work!

While experimenting with custom magnets, I ran into an interesting challenge: I needed to figure out how to make a font line up exactly in one program, then move that design into other programs without losing the size, alignment, or proportions.

It took some experimenting, measuring, and a little trial and error—but I finally figured it out.

So, for this experiment, I took 11 different fonts and created 11 completely different custom magnets.

Same name.
Different fonts.
Different styles.
Different looks.

And this is just the beginning.

One of the things I really enjoy about making these magnets is that I'm not limited to a handful of standard designs. If you can imagine it, I can start figuring out how to make it.

More experiments coming soon! 🔥

Here is my latest idea that I’ve been working on—and honestly, it was just too cool not to explore!

I stumbled across this idea and decided to see where I could take it. Along the way, I added another tool to my shop: a **UV printer**. This opens up all kinds of possibilities because I can print full-color images directly onto a variety of substrates.

So, I’m making **custom magnets—but not quite like the ones I’ve seen elsewhere.**

My magnets combine:

• Custom 3D-printed shapes
• Full-coverage magnetic sheeting
• Full-color custom UV-printed images

Put all three together, and you get something that is truly **custom and unique.**

I’m still exploring all the possibilities, but I have to say…

**It’s just too cool NOT to make!** 😎

Stay tuned—more ideas coming soon.

This is a project that I am truly excited about. It is custom address signs for homes. I was telling a good friend about my idea, and as good friends will do, he told me an idea to make it better. He told me to make a part of the sign with the ability to change the image. Brilliant! You could change for different holidays, seasons, the ideas are endless. Here is my first prototype. I've already made changes that I will share. Built with stained glass, cement, and 3d printing. I have included several pictures of my process. I am still making more for my family and friends who have to endure my prototyping phase. More of the same coolness to follow.

This piece started as a cement casting from a mold I made myself. Once cured, I added the lettering using a custom stencil I cut and painted through.
Each one comes out a little different — that’s the beauty of working with cement. Strong, simple, and made to last.
Perfect for a garden, porch, or as a unique piece of home décor.

First Home, First Sign
I had the honor of creating this custom house number sign for a couple buying their very first home.

The top is stained cedar, V-carved with the first letter of their last name and the year they became homeowners.
The background is rich purple stained glass — their favorite color.
The numbers are printed in durable white ASA, built to last.

It was a joy to make, and even more meaningful knowing it will hang proudly at their new home. Congratulations to the new homeowners!
