Story Hour Friends! Thank you for being a wonderful audience for our guest reader, Leif, owner and founder of Rum River Suzuki Violin.

Leif read interactive stories that featured the violin before leading a take home activity. These young readers got to decorate and take home their own violins 🎻 🎶

Leif even took the time to teach listeners individually about how to hold a violin and play their first note🎵

Thank you Leif and family for volunteering your time and making play violins for these happy young readers. The time and energy you gave set them up for a meaningful start to their weekends.

If anyone wants to learn more about Rum River Suzuki Violin please visit (and follow!) his page on Facebook.

Thanks to all for taking time out of your day for story hour. It really is a wonderful way for us to connect with others in our community🖤

Lastly, I've been thinking a lot about why working in Avant Garden brings me joy, and that is because the people we see come in our door are genuinely happy to be here and to share our space. I've been finding that coming into work truly improves my mental health because of the good vibes you bring.

So come for a mental health boost. I cannot recommend it enough 😊

Romance Book Club meets in October to talk about the book Score by Kennedy Ryan.

Score is a second chance romance that navigates important mental health topics. I am enjoying this one more than I expected.

This is a very good read that will give us a lot to discuss, but I do suggest you check for triggers. Feel free to message me with questions🤗
