It takes a village to raise a florist. 💜
A little over a year on the job, and this is officially the grandest casket spray I’ve made yet.
But this one feels less like something to brag about and more like something I feel incredibly grateful to have been trusted with.
The family was an absolute joy to work with. They found an inspiration picture filled with big color, movement and some really fun flowers we don’t often get the opportunity to use — and then trusted us to create something worthy of someone who was so very loved.
And when I say us, I mean it. Beth and her Diet Cokes showed up ready to walk me through this one. She encouraged me, gave constructive feedback and helped me figure it out as we went. It takes a village to raise a florist, and I’m pretty darn lucky to have mine with this family of Jmac Florists.
Being trusted to create flowers for someone’s final tribute is one of the greatest honors of this job. We know they’re more than flowers. They’re one last way to say we love you, we know you, and we’re going to miss you.
So, yes, this was the biggest one yet. But the love behind it was even bigger. 🩷
