I had someone today ask me why I started to sell drinks in my shop and I wanted to give a full understanding of why we chose Lotus Plant Energy over everything else out there.
When I decided to add drinks to The Carter Collective, I didn’t want to simply offer another loaded drink or something that was all about caffeine. I wanted something that I could feel good about serving to my customers—something with an ingredient list that you could feel good about. An ingredient list where you can pronounce the words.
That’s what drew me to Lotus Plant Energy 🩵💚💛🧡🩷
Lotus isn’t just about the caffeine. Plant Power 7 includes ingredients like coffee fruit (cascara), green coffee beans, guayusa leaf extract, elderberry, ashwagandha, green tea extract, prebiotics and electrolytes.
I love that I can make these drinks fun, colorful and delicious while still starting with a functional ingredient blend. You get bold flavors, natural caffeine and ingredients that offer more than just sweetness.
For me, it was about creating something different in our little shop. Something I could be excited to drink myself and feel good about offering to our customers.
There are a LOT of health clubs out there these days and now online shops selling caffeine like it’s essential, I know it can be confusing to know what’s actually in them besides the caffeine. We like to remind people caffeine isn’t everything. The supporting ingredients are just as important. We like to shy away from chemically washed sweetners, taurine, and preservatives at home and want to shy away at work too. That’s why I want to continue sharing what’s in our drinks and why we chose the products we did.
