Time to say goodbye to our visitors as they leave Antonito, Colorado and head for Chama, New Mexico to continue their celebration of the Victorian Iron Horse Round-up. All of this took place at the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad. 64 miles of narrow gauge track from Antonito, Colorado to Chama, New Mexico with amazing scenery the whole way. Reaching an elevation of 10,015 feet at Cumbres Pass, Colorado.

I have had several people the past few days saying they were told there is no gas station in Antonito, Colorado. Fake news. Antonito Fuels in located on Hwy 285 just one block south of Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad. They are fabulous. Diesel and Gas and the best cheeseburger.

So much history. The Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad in Antonito, Colorado will be a living museum for the next few days. Trains os the past all meeting together. Then on to Chama, New Mexico before they depart and return to their homes.
