There’s a lot to love about the 919!!
It’s beautiful here. It’s safe and warm and welcoming. And it’s full of all kinds of really wonderful people. Some were born here. Some, like us, found North Carolina and decided to make a life here.
There are so many cultures, families, backgrounds, ideas and ways of living represented in this little corner of the state. We love that about it. It makes our communities more interesting, more vibrant and simply better places to live.
We get to raise our family here. We get to run our little shop on Salem Street, know our neighbors, walk through town and feel like we’re part of something. People show up for each other here. People make room for each other here.
We don’t take any of that for granted.
