PLEASE READ. Over A year ago we got the most horrible news a parent could ever get our son was diagnosed with aml leukemia he has put up a very impressive fight he has endured unbelievable pain treatments and tests on top of tests he's gotten weekly platelets and blood not to mention how strong he has managed to stay mentally. We his family have been through hell as well it's hard on everyone in ways only those that have experienced this type of thing can understand .
Update 2 weeks ago Seth underwent a 4 day maintenance chemo treatment. He came home and then began to fight with platelets dropping and discovered his body is rejecting them he's been in the hospital for a week now and the Drs are working on putting together a different type of platlet infusion that his body will hopefully accept. Worse yet while he's been at the hospital for over a week addressing the platelets issue it's been discovered that he's no longer in remission the cancer is back and it's rather aggressive he has 80% blast cells in his blood and will be getting bone marrow test this afternoon to determine the level of cells in his bone marrow and also to determine the regimen of chemo needed to treat him . Please we need prayers 🙏 like never before . As I said this journey has been hard on the entire family and it's progressively getting harder in many ways . Recently I've had no choice but to quit trucking and come home to care for our other children so that it's possible for Christy to be by Seth's side as you can imagine that's made a lot of things very hard to manage and maintain financially. Traveling back and forth to Iowa city normal monthly bills and with school being out now the food bill has quadrupled I'm currently door dashing every minute I can along with mowing several yards and doing odd jobs but it just isn't enough . I know a few of you have helped in different ways over the last year and it's been appreciated beyond words it fills our hearts to know there's people who care. I hate asking for help I've always been a provider and prided myself in that as my role in my family but things have at least temporarily changed in that degree I need to be home for my other children so I'm reaching out to my friends family and aquantances please if you can help in any compassidy please help I'm not asking for me I'm asking for my children and my wife so please if you have hard feelings against me realize I'm not asking for me I'm asking for them .
