Hi, I’m Joe — founder of Aloha Joe Solutions Inc. Disabled Veteran • Fossil Hunter • Artist
After serving in the military, I found myself on a path of healing — not just physically or mentally, but spiritually. What helped most wasn’t found in a doctor’s office — it was in nature. I began fossil hunting and collecting healing stones as a form of therapy, walking Florida's shores and riverbeds, connecting with the Earth and myself in a way I never expected. What started as personal healing became a passion I now share through Stone & Fossil Creations, my line of handmade jewelry, keychains, and paperweights. Every fossil I use is one I personally discovered — and each stone is hand-selected for its natural energy and meaning. From calming amethyst to grounding obsidian, every piece carries a story, shaped by Earth and finished by hand. Creating these items is my way of sharing the peace and strength I found in the process. From Cardboard to Craftsmanship ✨

When I first started placing my healing stone and fossil earrings on consignment, I used a simple cardboard holder (you can see it on the left). It worked… but when it came time to restock a display at a client’s location, reaching the designs in the middle was slow and awkward.

So today I decided to step it up. I’m building a new compartmentalized wooden box from scrap wood that will neatly hold five different earring styles. This will make it much easier to organize inventory, access designs quickly, and present myself more professionally while servicing my displays.

Every improvement — even small ones — is part of growing the business and respecting the clients who trust me with their space.

A while back I made this earring for my wife for our anniversary.
It was simple — a shell and a fossil shark tooth — something that felt real and very Florida.
It was never meant to be a product. Just something I made for her.
But I’ve kept thinking about it.
I recently picked up diamond drill bits so I can work with shells more precisely without cracking them. The other day I collected three different shell types to start experimenting with. They’re different from this white one, but each has its own character — and I think they’ll pair beautifully with fossil shark teeth.
I’m considering a small production run.
Hand-drilled. Hand-wrapped. Real shells. Real fossils.
Before I move forward, I’d love your feedback.
