Is anyone else surprised by these cooler August temperatures?
I was expecting the usual dog days of August with plenty of heat in the 90s and humidity, so seeing some cooler days in the forecast is a very welcome surprise!

I'm certainly not going to complain. I'll happily trade a few scorching days for some beautiful, comfortable August weather. 😊

Good morning, Thursday! ☀️

Once again, Thursday has rolled around and somehow I'm not quite ready for it!

This migraine has been kicking my butt, so I'll admit I've been slacking a little on my posts this week. Sometimes you just have to give yourself permission to slow down and do what you can.

I'm hoping today is a better day and that I can get back into my creative groove. ✂️ In the meantime, I'm curious ....

Good morning, friends! ☀️

It's going to be a busy Thursday!

First, I'm headed to Kittanning for a 10:30 appointment, then it's off to Oakland for a 1:30 appointment. Talk about traveling in opposite directions! 🚗

I'll get to do the 28 thing again, this time to Oakland which I've never done, and I'll be very thankful for my GPS. 😄 It's always nice to have a little navigation confidence when you're heading somewhere new to you. Last time it was to Pittsburgh. Does anyone know if the Parkway East is open yet? Can I come home that way? Can I make a great big circle?

The best part of the day? I have dinner plans with my bestie at 5:00! That gives me something fun to look forward to after a busy afternoon.

98% migraine free!! There's just a little bit that wants to hang on. I've been staying hydrated and making sure I eat. However, that shadow just hasn't gone away.
