Another day in the field. We’re out at Boschma Farms taking care of a couple of beef today. We appreciate the opportunity to work with ranchers who take pride in raising quality cattle. Took my boy to work with me today, and somewhere along the way he decided it was the perfect time for a nap. 😴😂 I couldn’t let that slide, so I gave him a little scare to wake him up. Safe to say he won’t be catching another nap around me anytime soon! 🤣

Proud moment for our family and the future of the trade. My grandson, Denver Mathews representing the fifth generation—is currently learning alongside his uncle Kenny, gaining hands-on experience in the art of butchery, including splitting a beef.

With a strong work ethic and passion for the craft, Denver is already setting his sights on the future. Over the next 4–5 years, he plans to continue developing his skills and ultimately take that knowledge out of state to start his own meat business. The Legacy continues!

We received a call this evening for an emergency beef harvest. We always do our best to accommodate last-minute requests because customer service is extremely important to us. Tonight, I even had to bring my little helper along to help get the job done.
