We've missed you. 🤍
The last few weeks have been... a lot.
After flooding hit our studio on July 2nd, we emptied the entire shop so cleanup and rebuilding could begin. Thankfully, every bolt of fabric was unharmed and saved thanks to Dan's elevated shelving (his idea turned out to be a really good one!). The only loss was a newly arrived Art Gallery shipment that had not been unboxed. (We were quite lucky overall). After moving our bolts to a safe location, what we thought would be a quick cleanup turned into a bit more with the pulling of flooring and opening walls. We couldn't have done it without our family, who jumped in to help every step of the way.
Just as we were getting ready to reopen online orders out of our temporary studio our hometown was hit by an EF3 tornado. Our home and shop were spared, but so many families, friends, and fellow small businesses across the 12 mile path suffered devastating losses, yet miraculously there was no loss of life.
One thing we'll carry with us from all of this is the kindness we've witnessed. Seeing our community come together to care for families, friends and local businesses affected by the tornado has been nothing short of inspiring.
Now that the internet is back, we're opening our virtual doors again from our temporary studio set up. 💛
Our favorite curated bundles and designer pre-cuts are available now, and yardage will be back as soon as our cutting room is up and running again. We will share more updates as our shop studio rebuild progresses.
