NFA Update…
We are on our 5th approval since the first.
Things are rolling along fairly smooth on our side. System is backlogged with dealers uploading applications. Sometimes it takes 5 minute’s to file, sometimes it takes 25 minutes.
Sorry for being so long. Lots of info to share, want to help as many people as possible. I tried to make this easier to read and skip over if it doesn’t apply to you.
1) What does $0 tax cover? Everything except machine guns
2) Do we offer in house fingerprints? Yes. You own the fingerprints. We will email you your EFT files for you to use on form 1 stuff.
3) Do we thread barrels? Yes. Turn around time is roughly a week, up to 2 weeks. We are a full service machining and gunsmith shop.
4) Do we stock suppressors? Yes. We carry Silencerco, Rugged, Fox Creek Arms, Diligent Defense, AB, Griffin Armament, Hux, Primary Weapon Systems, we order others. Availability varies day to day.
5) Do we special order a specific suppressor? Yes. Right now a special order takes about a week for the suppressor to arrive. Once it arrives, then we can file.
6) Can you sell a suppressor to a friend? Yes, but it will be much easier in the near future. There is going to be the availability for you to transfer NFA items from individual to individual.
7) Do you help with SBR filing? Yes. Short barrels rifles need to be filed by you ONLY at home, not at the dealer. We offer a cheat sheet and electronic fingerprints for $75. Bring in your gun you want to SBR, we will fill out the cheat sheet. You can take it home and copy what we provide line for line.
8 Do we engrave? Yes. SBR engraving is usually $35, but can vary depending on setup and location. We offer full service machining and gunsmithing.
