With fall in the air, I had to make a pumpkin spice variety of our Simple Soap. 🎃
We like to keep things simple so our ingredients focus on moisturizing oils including:
●Shea Butter
●Tallow
●Olive Oil
●Coconut Oil
●Castor Oil
AND blending essential oils and fun additions to create a wonderful, uplifting experience! 🧼 In this case we added comforting vanilla, spicy cinnamon and our own farm grown squash. 👩‍🌾

We do more than just grow flowers here 😊
The great chicken migration has begun! With these guys almost a month old, our cornish crosses got upgraded to a new, larger area. It took a while and some creativity but we eventually got all 50 some birds moved over. 🐔

With fall here and production remaining low, we will be closing our egg cooler until next spring.

We (and our chickens) thank you for the support this last year! The kids always looked forward to visiting the stand and seeing if someone stopped by.🥚 We appreciate each and every one of you and hope to start things up again in the spring. 🤞

Outside of some sunnies and dahlias, this is our last harvest bucket. And it just so happens that it went to a bridal shower where the bride-to-be wanted a flower bar and the coordinator was all about supporting a local farm. I can't think of a better way to end the season!

Our posts will continue to share what is happening here at Wildway because the fall season has just begun. Our dreams are big...and we want you to be a part of them!

We have already ordered 600 snapdragon and 600 campanula plugs to plant this fall. PLUS... 200 peony bare roots and 1500 tulip bulbs will be delivered in the next few months. Next spring is going to be crazy but in a great way!

Big changes are happening here on the farm!

1)Our original flower bed has been converted back into a front yard-whew!😮‍💨
2) We've started prepping our new flower beds in the back pasture.

As convenient as it was to be able to step out our front door and work the flower beds, it didn't lend well to work/ home life balance so we're shifting. I really look forward to Jordan and I sitting on our front porch again, watching the kids play in the yard. 🪁🛴👨‍👩‍👦‍👦

An ode to celosia as our season comes to an end! These beauties deserve a post of their own. It's been a lot of fun making bouquets after growing so many different celosia varieties this year- they always add visual interest whether it's their unique colors or shapes. Thankful for the part they played during the first two years of our flower farm.
