I did it again. 😁 This mask (not my typical style) was juried into the Annual Visions in Clay 2026 Exhibition at Horton Art Gallery in Stockton. I'm happy to be in the company of some truly intricate and original clay art forms in this exhibit. I am one of 36 artists selected from 87. 🙂

The official postcards for the upcoming Pajaro Valley Arts exhibit, Body Marking: art, ritual & story have been mailed out. One came in the mail today. 4 of my art pieces were juried in to the exhibit and one of my images was selected to be on the portcard and all promotion. That's my image on the top left. 😁

I mentioned before that 4 of my art pieces were juried into the Body Marking exhibit upcomig at Pajaro Valley Arts Council. Only 34 of us were selected out of all the entries. And I was one of four selected to have our art on the official post card and all other promotions! I invite my local friends to come to the reception Aug 8, especially those of you who are inked! It should be a really different and interesting exhibit.

My most recent art project, Return of the Sky People. Recently sold a canvas print of the original. It's 16" x 20". The original is 500, a canvas print is 200. Of course the © won't be on the front of the print! If interested, message me.

Free and open to the public art reception Saturday, April 18 from 1-3 pm at Unitarian Universalist Church of the Monterey Peninsula in their lovely gallery entrance. The address is 490 Aqualito Road in Carmel.
An opportunity to view the mixed media art by indigenous artist, Becky Olvera Schultz (Shawnne/Kickapoo), who has been creating award winning art since 1993. On display are clay/mixed Native Americn masks, a Southwestern Bison Horn Gourd mask, photography, serigraphs, rawhide shields and mix media works. All available for sale.
Meet the artist and enjoy the art. Her art has been featured in 9 solo museum exhibitions over the years as well as countless exhibitions in California as well as in juried national exhibits and 3 national magazines. Also available at the reception will be art images on note cards and puzzles as well as original serigraphs and photo prints.
She recently organized and promoted the first ever Holiday Native Arts Market in December in Santa Cruz County which was an overwhelming success. She plans on organizing another market mid year and another one in December.
