Finally got a chance to start putting together the raised garden bed Mr. Shawn brought over for me! 🌱🪚🔨

He made them ready to screw!! 🙌🏾💯💪🏾🥳

Baby, all you need is some wood, some tools, a little company, and some coffee/tea ,and you can make something happen! 😂☕️

We used:
🪵 12 fence boards
🪵 Four 2x4x8 boards
🔨 Hammer
🪚 Saw
🔩 Screws
🛠️ Cordless drill

And look at us! 🙌🏾😂 It’s ALMOST complete! The rain said, That’s enough for today! 🌧️🤣 So we had to wrap it up, but we’ll be back at it!

My backyard garden is slowly but surely coming together, one project at a time. 🌱🏡💚

🧚🏾‍♀️🌿 My enchanted fairy & gnome garden is slowly coming to LIFE! 🍄✨

I went to Dollar Tree yesterday and baby… they had ALLLLL kinds of cute little things that would be perfect for the vision I have for this garden. 👀😂 I was looking like, “Yep, I need that… and that… annnnd that too!” 🤣🛒

Then I got an unexpected delivery! 🌱🙌🏾 My uncle pulled up with plants Mr. Shawn sent over for me, broccoli, cauliflower, mustard greens, tomatoes & cabbage! 🥦🍅🥬

Thank you, Mr. Shawn! 💚 You already know these babies are about to get put to WORK in these garden beds! 😂

Now I just need to finish getting everything planted, painted and decorated so I can bring this whole enchanted garden vision together. 🧚🏾‍♀️🍄🌸🌿 Y’all just wait until I’m finished!

🚗💗 WHAT WOULD YOU DO, LOVELY?! 👀

Your temperature gauge starts climbing toward HOT while you’re driving… what’s your FIRST move? 🥵🚗

A️⃣ Keep driving and hope it goes back down

B️⃣ Pull over somewhere safe and shut the vehicle off

C️⃣ Open the radiator cap and check the coolant

D️⃣ Add some water and keep it moving 😂

If you chose B — YES MA’AM! 💅🏾👏🏾

Get somewhere SAFE and shut her DOWN! Continuing to drive an overheating vehicle can turn one problem into a much more EXPENSIVE one. 💸

And lovely… DO NOT open that radiator cap while that engine is HOT! 🚫🔥 A hot cooling system can be pressurized, and that coolant can cause serious burns.

Now here’s the other part I want you to remember:

Running hot is the SYMPTOM. We still have to find the CAUSE. 🔧

It could be low coolant or a leak, a cooling fan problem, thermostat issue, water pump problem, radiator issue, or something else within the cooling system.

We don’t just start buying parts because we THINK we know what’s wrong. Diagnose first. Repair second. Save your coins!🤌🏾💰

Lovely 🥰, you don't have to be a mechanic, but you SHOULD know the basics about YOUR vehicle! 🚗💙🔧

Know your year, make, model & submodel. Know your engine size, what type of oil and fuel it takes, your tire size and recommended tire pressure, and where to locate your VIN.

Know where your spare tire, jack and tools are. Learn your basic dashboard warning lights, how to check your fluids, and what to do if you get a flat, your car overheats, breaks down, or you’re involved in an accident.

And PLEASE pay attention to those sounds, smells, shakes and warning lights BEFORE your vehicle leaves you stranded! 👀😂

You learned how to handle everything else life threw at you, baby you can learn your vehicle too! 💪🏾💙

🚗💪🏾 S.H.E.D.R.I.V.E.S. is growing, lovely!

Y'all have watched me work on my own vehicles, my family's vehicles, help friends and neighbors, learn, teach AND get my hands dirty. 😅🔧

Well... I'm ready to start offering a few basic vehicle maintenance services too! 👀💕

Oil changes, filters, wiper blades, bulbs, batteries, basic Road-Ready Checks and other minor maintenance.

But here's what makes S.H.E.D.R.I.V.E.S. different...

I'm not just replacing your part and sending you on your way.

I'm going to show you what I'm looking at and explain WHY it matters in regular everyday language. Because you should know what's going on with YOUR vehicle. 💯

And y'all already know how I feel about a dirty engine bay. 😂 If I'm under there, I'm looking around! A cleaner engine bay also makes it easier to notice fresh leaks and other changes that may need attention.

For oil changes, I'm considering having customers purchase the correct oil and filter for their vehicle and pay $30 for the service/labor. That way you choose what goes into your vehicle and know exactly what you're paying for. 🙌🏾

I'm starting small, staying within the services I'm comfortable providing, and building from there.
