🧜‍♀️✨ SHE CAME LOOKING FOR A MERMAID… AND THEN THIS HAPPENED.

I walked into SisterHearts and stopped in my tracks.

There she was.

One of our customers needed an outfit that would give MERMAID—and somehow, among all the treasures inside SisterHearts, she found this.

The flowing aqua dress.
The sparkle.
The blue hair.
And that smile. 💙

I was captivated by how beautiful she looked.

This is one of my favorite things about SisterHearts. People come through our doors looking for an outfit, a costume, a bargain, or something they can’t quite describe…

And sometimes they find the exact thing they didn’t know was waiting for them.

She didn’t just find a dress.

🧜‍♀️ She found her mermaid moment.

And BABY… SHE BECAME THE MERMAID! 😂✨

Working through my pain my way! ✨

Sometimes healing looks like getting up, showing up, and putting your hands to something that matters.

I walked into an area of the store that felt cluttered and overwhelming, and instead of trying to fix everything at once, I started with one section.

We separated the men’s and women’s belts, cleared away what didn’t belong, created new displays, styled the mannequin, and turned a forgotten little area into something customers can actually stop, see and SHOP. 😍

This may look like a thrift-store makeover, but to me it represents so much more.

I’m taking my space back.
I’m taking my business back.
And little by little, I’m finding my way back to myself.

Wait until you see what we transform next. 😎❤️

✨ BEFORE ➡️ AFTER! ✨

What a difference a little vision, patience, and organization can make! 😍

These beautiful dolls were piled together in the back of the store, where no one could really appreciate them. I decided it was time to give them the display they deserved.

Now they have their own beautiful space up front, surrounded by vintage pieces and arranged so you can actually see each one. 💕🪆

I’m learning that organizing the store isn’t just about cleaning things up—it’s about creating displays that make our merchandise feel special and inviting.

One section at a time.
One decision at a time.
One transformation at a time. 💪🏽✨

And this one makes me smile every time I walk past it. 😊

🎃 SHE’S 8 YEARS OLD… BUT TODAY, SHE’S THE RICH OLD LADY. 😂💰👒

Halloween shopping at SisterHearts took a VERY unexpected turn.

This little fashionista came in looking for a costume, started digging through the treasures, and somewhere between the hat, the glasses, the jacket and that unmistakable rich-lady attitude…

a character was born. 😂

Meet “The Rich Old Lady.”

And baby, she didn’t just pick out an outfit.

She became her. 😭😂

Once she got dressed, there was only one thing left to do…

TAKE A WALK.

So at the ripe old age of 8, our newest wealthy socialite took a stroll through SisterHearts like she owned the building. 👒💅🏾

The confidence.
The pose.
The walk.
The glasses.
And that little face that says:

“Darling… I don’t check price tags.” 😂😂😂

THIS is what I love about thrifting.

A child walked into a thrift store looking for Halloween pieces and walked out with an imagination full of possibilities.

At SisterHearts, sometimes the greatest treasure isn’t what you find.
