We love taking our family out to Goose Island State Park, they have such fun activies for kids and family!

Our bait donation went to a get cause for kids fishing activities.

We're just a couple of short weeks away from the Goose Island Extravaganza and Star Party! Join us in celebrating 100 Years in Texas State Parks!

We'll have activities for all ages such as fishing at our 1620ft pier (bait provided by Capt. Cady's 1 Bait Shop!), a touch tank provided by Coastal Fisheries - Texas Parks and Wildlife, activities from the Buffalo Soldiers Program- Texas Parks and Wildlife, a wildfire activity from the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge, knot tying with the Texas Maritime Museum, kayaking (with help from Kraken Kayak Outfitters), Spanish Exploration provided by MidCoast Chapter Texas Master Naturalist, marine activities from Bay Education Center, crafts from the Rockport Center for the Arts, and more! These activities will be from 10am-3pm.

The Star Party will be 8:30-10:00pm. We'll have the Corpus Christi Astronomical Society there to help us celebrate!

This is a celebration you won't want to miss. Did we mention that entrance fees will be waived? This event is completely FREE to everyone! We can't wait to see you!

January 14th will be our last day open or until we sell out of bait. Our family will be taking our yearly winter vacation, and will maintenace our shop and shrimp boat for the next season.

We will reopen our shop back on March 1st 2023.
