You have to see this 1871 Chickering Grand Piano. Now this was fun to work on, it took time to replace the broken strings (33) because this is a concert grand and about 9' long. It was worth it, and it took extra time on the tuning to bring it up to the concert pitch. You should check out the pic's as the woodwork on this is spectacular.

What an honor to work on an 1896 Mason & Hamlin upright. They don't make them like this anymore. Thanks, Doug for allowing me to bring this back to life. This will be fun and a lot of work to do. Of course, the Border Collies ( Star and Moon) will make everything great with their supervision.

A privilege to have this piano around. It is an 1896 Mason & Hamlin piano that is still in the A440hz. range. This is great to be able to bring this back to life. Thanks, Doug for your confidence in me to do this job.

What a pleasure it was to tune this Steinway Grand. Its pitch was down to A437hz., but easily came back to A440hz. This is why tunings should be done at least once a year. The human ear can't detect this drop as the piano drops as a whole unit unless one key is out further than the rest, then we can near that.
