From its beginnings in Florida waters to the hands of the craftsman who will eventually turn it into something incredible, that number stays connected to its story!

No two hides are exactly alike! Every scale, marking and detail gives each one its own character!

Now for a little behind the scenes look at what we’ve been working on at Muddy Water Hides!

This Peanut Brittle hide is headed out to one of several manufacturers we’re working with to have sample accessories made from our hides. We’ve sent different hides to different makers so we can see their craftsmanship firsthand and explore what each can create with genuine American alligator.

Belts, wallets, bags and more! We’re excited to see how these samples turn out and which manufacturers are the best fit for the quality and craftsmanship we want associated with Muddy Water Hides.

What began in Florida waters is becoming something built around authenticity, craftsmanship, and a piece of Florida that has a story all its own.

We’ll be offering genuine American alligator hides, with plans to turn select hides into belts, wallets, purses, and other handcrafted pieces.
