Every Friday morning on 96.1 WMTR’s Prognosticators Show, a male and female Athlete of the Week gets recognized for the outstanding performance that they put on that week.

Hit Trophy has produced the Athlete of the Week awards for about 20 years, and Swanton Welding & Machining Company of Swanton, Ohio, has sponsored the program for 35 years. This season, each winner receives our Contour Imperial Glass Award — engraved, gift-boxed, and made to keep.

The first four honorees of 2026:

• Willa Ruffer, Archbold tennis
• Maci Stinehelfer, Swanton soccer
• Gavin Brown, Fairview High School
