Nonna's Bookseller has anchored Ardmore since 1972 — and when Morgan, Traci, Erica, and Victoria took it over in 2025 (kind of on a whim), they filled it with shelves worth getting lost in. New releases, deep cuts, and a children's section curated by a mom of two who knows exactly what a five-year-old will actually sit still for.

Cozy corners you're meant to linger in. A whimsical kids' mural by a local artist. Bee accents everywhere, because the bee is Nonna's signature.

Pull something off the shelf. Stay a while. That's the whole point.

Happy (belated) — here’s one of our favorite novels about three sisters and their mother, Lara.

Tom Lake is a 2023 novel by Ann Patchett about three sisters who learn about their mothers stories of her youthful romance with a famous actor during a summer theater production at Tom Lake in the 1980s, while the family is isolated at their Michigan cherry orchard during the 2020 pandemic.

The quiet, introspective story explores themes of love, family, and the choices that shape a life, contrasting youthful passion with the enduring love of her marriage.
