We hosted the weekly Arkansas City Area Chamber of Commerce coffee today and we want to thank everyone that took time out of their busy day to stop in and visit with us! Pastor Milby from First UPC of Ark City came in a little early and he serenaded us with some beautiful hymns on the piano. His music always lifts me up, so seeing him was a welcome sight. I think we had a great turnout and the conversation was awesome as well. These Chamber coffees are always open to the public and it’s a great way to find out what’s going on in our community! Great start to this new month! Hello Fall, so glad to finally see you!

We are all decked out for Halloween, not only in our front display window but also all throughout the Mall! We have vintage Halloween postcards and other vintage items. We also have kids costumes, masks, ceramic pumpkins, and everything you need to decorate your home for the Halloween Season. We are located at 211 S. Summit in the ♥️ of the historical downtown district. We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10-5. See you soon!

We want to give a special shout out to a new antique shop that just opened in Wellington, Kansas! Washington Avenue Antiques is located at 107 S. Washington, just across the street from This-N-That Emporium. They are open Thursday through Saturday from 10-5. Besides those two antique shops, you will also find Then & Now Mercantile and Ndga National Glass Museum too. We will be adding Washington Avenue Antiques to our brochure at our next printing! Congratulations Brenda on your new shop! We are excited for you! ♥️

Please join us this Thursday, October 1st for the weekly Arkansas City Area Chamber of Commerce Coffee! We are hosting it and will be serving snacks and drinks. It’s always open to the public and it’s a chance to learn about local events coming up! We will also be having several drawings for gifts. And, if you haven’t already stopped in, we have a piece of Arkalalah history that was in the parade in the mid 1950’s. It’s not only on display, but it’s for sale too! It’s an antique wicker pony cart made by Studebaker and was owned by Judge Sybrant who was not only a local district court judge, but also a well known antique collector. The coffee is from 10-11 so mark your calendar!
