This evening went to the garden to cut flowers. Dahlias are magnificent, I love them not only because they are My home country national flower, love the perfect symmetry and the vast variety available.

Lisianthus still rocking, Zinnias are in their peak. All the variety of blooms come beautifully together for my bouquets.

Sold out early this afternoon at the Farm Stand, so I made more for you all my beautiful flower followers. Making bouquets is the best way to finish a 11 hour day! 😆

Dried flowers for the fall are doing well. I think so far there is roughly around 300 bunches.

Still waiting on a couple of crops but so far so good.

Here a little thing about dried flowers, you actually harvest them at a very specific stage to be successful. The adequate dark room, very dry space with airflow.

These will be available in the fall as bunches, dried flower arrangements or wreaths.

Marvelous Lisianthus Harvest!
Did you know they are native of North America?
They grow in Northern México and the South region of the US.

Japanese breeders fell in love with them and created all the new varieties we see now days. They are ny favorite flower to grow. They are not as popular as Roses. I Think they deserve the spotlight. #
