funny how you can look back at your career and realize you were accidentally preparing for something the entire time 😂

before i was a part-time reseller, i was working in the resale ecosystem in ways i didn’t even fully appreciate.

from working on BULQ at Optoro, to managing social for eBay’s Newsroom at Edelman, to making my very first eBay purchase back when i had absolutely no idea what i was doing.

years later, i somehow ended up building the exact kind of business i’d been surrounded by all along.

i guess the dots really do connect when you look back 🤍

so here’s the download on the resale app everyone’s talking about: Vinted ⬇️

with no seller fees right now, resellers are quickly jumping to this platform, but take it from me — i wouldn’t put your entire closet there 👀

i’m using it specifically for the low-hanging fruit: the $1–$5 pieces that aren’t worth optimizing for Poshmark or eBay, but are still perfectly sellable.

i’d rather turn a $3 Forever 21 top into something than let it sit in my inventory for another two years.

that’s really the strategy: don’t use Vinted to sell everything. use it to move the stuff that’s hardest to move elsewhere.

i’ve been testing it out (so far i’ve made $50), and i’m sharing what I’m learning along the way.

the one you were convinced would sell right away...and then it sits for months (or in my case, years 😂)

when i first started thrifting to resell, i thought finding a good brand was enough. but now i know this:

brands get your attention. but style, size, seasonality, and demand are what ACTUALLY make the sale.

this sweater only earned me $0.81, but it saved me from making the same mistake hundreds of times afterward.

let’s be honest — it’s not the most flashy side hustle.

but there’s something really satisfying about watching all those little tasks add up to a business i’ve built from the ground up.

and yes, Dunkin is absolutely a business expense in my heart ☕️
