RBS is TRANSITIONING-04/2024
We are moving out of our long time location building by the end of this week so the Landlord can move forward with his demolition plans. This demolition has been with my acknowledgement since 2014... Apparently, the time has come.
Having to move the store is definitely bitter-sweet, right now. I can't think of a worse time to force my move then RIGHT NOW. As my long awaited Spring Riding Season sales were JUST begining and really needed after an extremely long stressful stretch if time for me, 2020-2023. But, with the recent moment that I accepted having to leave and began to actually pack, it truely felt good. I am excited to clean the slate, as my store is not AT ALL how I had left it before becoming ill in 2021.
For those that know my unimaginable 'rabbit hole' story that caused my extended medical leave of 18 months, I found it overwhelming when I returned to the store last July. Trying to remove the threatening & sketchy activity that the 'person' (to speak nicely) working the store intentionally brought in & all that trailed in to follow has been one long costant headache. I am done with all the drug & threatening activity from the old employee & all that surrounds that neighboring property CONSTANTLY for all the years RBS has been there. But things got severe once it was intentionally brought into my store while I was away. So, I cannot wait to complete this excessively DEEP Spring Cleaning, and agonizing process. Because it has been nothing less than exhausting & a waist of precious time for me.
Now, for what the plan is moving forward & what it may entail...
I have 2 realtors actively scouting the area for a new location, and my supporting advisor helping make it happen for finding the RIGHT building/lot asap...because SPRING IS HERE!
Meanwhile, as soon as we can complete this GIGANTIC HEADACHE & ENORMOUS workload of having to clear out the entirety of my store from building, I am also in the overwhelming process of organizing all the stores inventory implementing for online sales & plan to continue that with the new location.
I am definitely overwhelmed with everything in chaos, but RBS is not disappearing, but is in transion. So, please bare with the process as it must get done as soon as possible, but it is a huge challenge. I was really not wanting to have to deal with this move until fall because, as I am doing much better, I am still on the tediously slow recovery path from the medical complication I went through, with another year to go.
I will update here as things progress.
Sincerely,
Lisa
