How i came to do tumblers

Hello

First off my name is Kayla Gonzalez. I stated this page to get my tumblers out there. I've been doing tumblers for about a year now. But just recently started selling to more than just friends and family. I wanted to find an outlet as a stay at home mom with my youngest two getting to be school age I found myself really wanting something to do with my time that also gave me some me time. my husband had bought me a cricut for mothers day one year and I had only used it to make shirt and let me tell you shirts are not my favorite to make. They are just tedious and I felt like everyone I knew was making them. at this point I had been following tumblers for 2 years but just never made the financial investment to start them up. eventually i found my why! why i wanted to make money at home so me and my husband set up a plan got my turners built and have been making tumblers ever since (june 2018)

The name sissy’s creations came about because my whole life I have been called sissy bear by everyone that knows me. to this day my nieces and nephews call me sissy. it is a term that has been with me all my life and it keeps me close to family roots. back in 2016 my mom suddenly passed. two years after I had moved 6 hours away that was a hard thing to deal with but my mom was/is the most creative person I know so keeping the name sissy means a lot to me.

on a lighter note I made this page to sell my tumblers but feel a calling to teach other women how to do it as well that way any mom looking for a way to be able stay home with their babies or anyone looking for a side business or a new hobby can do it as well. women supporting women is what I'm all about and I hope to build a community of like minded people to help explore other peoples creativity and bounce ideas off of each other! no negativity will be allowed this will be a safe space for all craft people or people who just like to watch the lives. I look forward to cultivating a relationship with everyone on here.
