June 13th!!
"I began my art journey during covid, finding time on my hands yet being too sick to do anything physical. I saw something on TV that said approximately 300 million books end up in landfills each year and as a book lover, that number shocked me. I started looking at different things you can do with books and ran across a lady that was folding the pages to make designs like butterflies, names and shapes. I thought, I can do that. I started with folding into different shapes and it has snowballed from there leading to my multidimensional art. Because all of my pieces are made using upcycled or recycled materials, each piece is unique." - Nicole Viviano
