A little while ago we were contacted by a nice lady who wanted to know if we could make a special custom charcuterie board. It would be a wedding gift for a friend. Said it had to include certain elements: Tree of Life and four specific animals. So we worked out a design that would tie it all together starting with a block of rough-cut maple from the local lumber yard and ending with this wood burned scene, finished with food-grade mineral and butcher block oil. We hope the new owners are pleased with the results.

As much as I hate to say it, there is going to be a delay of perhaps 2-3 weeks for anything coming out of the shop. I had a hiking accident and need surgical repair on my ankle. Will be putting out some light stuff soon though.

Out goes a custom maple charcuterie board sure hope the new owners enjoy it, special times to be had with family and friends ❤️. The grain of the maple really came alive when the oil finish was rubbed in.
