Thirteen years ago today, I was waking up in a hospital room recovering from colon cancer surgery. Thinking about that this morning, I became overwhelmed at the goodness of God. During my stay in the hospital, I was visited by two ministers who prayed the prayer of faith over me. At that moment, something changed in my life, and I knew it. I made a deal with God that for every day He would give me, I would give it back to Him, somehow.

God did not heal me because I was good. He healed me because He is good. For those of you who are struggling with disease or sickness, just know that God hasn't forgotten you. In His word, He says above all, He wants you to be in good health, and to prosper. He cannot lie.

If you need someone to help you think these things through, and pray for you, just let me know. I am here for you, still. I am happy to serve... It's just a small part of the commitment I made back when He visited me in that hospital room.

There are no hopeless cases. I am living proof.

We will all come through this current phase of sickness.

The problem is that they will give the credit to the horrible policies forced on us during this time, not to the Grace of God.
