Here is a photo that Zac captured after the recent modular build that he did for The Bob Moog Foundation

The new school modular in front of the old school modular. Zac has been lucky enough to have also done quite a bit of maintenance and tuning on the old system seen in this picture as well! (The old system lives at the Moogseum and is one of the earlier Moog Modulars built in the late 60’s!)

Got a Nord Stage 3 on the bench this morning. Had some velocity issues with the keyboard. Some of the key contacts needing some cleaning. Now it truly is stage ready.

We fix pedals too! Here’s two different vintage EHX boxes that were repaired.

First is a Micro Synthesizer that had some broken and scratchy faders, and some power issues. Everything was repaired and all old faders were replaced. The new faders even had red LEDs in them which required some modding to make work. This was a fun project!

Next up was a Golden Throat talk box which just had some wiring issues. This was pretty straight forward but cool to see what the guts of what made this classic sound.

The Realistic MG-1: A collaboration between Bob Moog and RadioShack. Sounds so sweet and has 4-note polyphony as well. For a 1980s analog synth of its size it really packs a punch.

This repair was from awhile ago. The faders needed cleaning and the synth needed to be tuned up as well. It’s amazing how well these old synths can hold up with just a little bit of love.

We love fixing Rolands. Here's a couple pics of a Roland JP-8000 that needed to be recapped because the output was quiet and distorted. It always feels good to give an old instrument a new lease on life.

This one was such a pain, but it is finally fully functional! The S&H wasn’t working, and turns out a bad film cap was the issue.. never have I seen that! I practically rebuild that entire PCB, but it rips now.
