The Supper Club is expanding — pull up a chair.

For a while now, it’s been Camp Negroni and Chardonnay Disco holding down the table: one an aperitivo hideaway with dice on the felt and vinyl on the turntable, the other a velvet-lit lounge where the Chardonnay never runs dry. Two very different nights out, same feeling — like the reservation was made just for you.
Now there’s a third seat.

Flambé Chalet just arrived at Dog & Pony Show, and it might be our favorite one yet — burnt sugar and candlelight, ice wine and honey meringue, the kind of scent that smells like the fire’s still going after everyone else has gone to bed. If Camp Negroni is the cabin party and Chardonnay Disco is the after-party, Flambé Chalet is the quiet, glowing hour in between.

All three are Perfume Oils by kellyandjones — tiny 6ml bottles that punch way above their size — and now the full Supper Club Collection is here in the shop.

Your evening awaits, from the first pour to the last flicker of candlelight. Table’s ready.

MAKER SPOTLIGHT: KINDLY WOVEN

I spent a long time searching for a throw blanket worthy of a spot in Dog & Pony Show — one I could hand to a customer and say, this one is special, and mean it.

Kindly Woven checked every box. Original patterns from independent artists. Small-batch weaving on jacquard looms at family-run mills right here in North Carolina. And a founder, Laura Adams, who talks about her work with the kind of care you can actually feel in the finished piece.

There’s a settee in the front window that stops people mid-step. Jenny Ellis of The Artful Chair took a vintage, hand-carved frame and turned its backrest into a landscape — a hand-painted sunset in gold, coral, and violet giving way to layered mountain ridges pieced from reclaimed denim, each shade of indigo settling further into the distance like real atmosphere. The original scroll arms and warm wood are all still here, holding history steady while the textile does something entirely new. Hand-applied nailhead trim ties it together the old-fashioned way. This one is as much sculpture as seating — come inside and view. A footstool and companion throw pillow are available too.

A piece to anchor a mountain home — or to hold the view for you until you’re back in these hills again.

New in the shop: Sourdough Sally by Gregor 🍞

We’re so happy to welcome Sourdough Sally into the Dog & Pony Show family. Born on December 5, 2024, Sally started with locally grown wheat and water filtered from the Mills River — a small act of creation in the wake of Helene, made to represent the resilience of this community. Made right here in Asheville, with all-natural ingredients and the highest quality throughout.

Come by and taste for yourself — today we’re sampling the Cacio e Pepe crackers, and they’re every bit as good as they sound. Stop in, pull up a stool at our sample table, and meet your new favorite snack. 🧀✨

Over the past year, these little bear cubs have quietly stolen hearts in the shop — caught mid-climb, curled up in the moss, nose-to-nose with a butterfly. Amanda McLenon is stepping into a new series soon, and as she does, she’s marking down the four remaining cubs from $400 to $300 — a small thank-you to everyone who’s loved them along the way.

Tickled Pink 🌸

Plush, polished, and faceted finds — all blushing the same happy hue.

From the feather-trimmed lampshade perched on its glossy pink base, to a crystal cluster caught mid-sparkle on an antler and marble treasure box, to rose quartz beaded bracelets stacked and ready to wear — this corner of the shop is having a moment.
