The entire side of our building is a giant Batman mural which between that and our Joker mural hold our parking lot. We are located across State Street from the ever popular Sunny Pointe Cafe & between there and the longstanding community favorite Haywood Lounge. We also have new items listed online at the internet version of our Nerd Sanctuary https://morganscomics.com/ with monthly Flash Sales and a full online subscription service with option to mail out available. Bringing sparkly-eyed nerdy joy into the heart of West Asheville for 6 years now! Morgan's Comics Nerd Sanctuary has always invited all who peaceably attend to take a break from regular reality within our walls and that is why we have been voted the best comics/collectible shop in Western North Carolina for two years in a row now. We are very family friendly (with Mr. Rogers as our primary role-model) but without ever going full PG rated. There is something for everyone in here and everyone is welcome find their people. Whether new to nerddoms or a life long geek this animated, colorful, exciting and friendly place has been enjoyed for "Bringing Nerds Together, That's What We Do". Our shop is also the first female owned comic shop in Western North Carolina. Being a minority (by far) by solidly being a female owned book store has lent to sympathy for many other struggling groups and we attempt to level to playing field for all entrprenaurs regardless of national origin, race, color, religion, disability, s*x, gender identity or familial status..
