Asheville Craft Exchange (ACE) will be a destination for both crafters and art and craft consumers in WNC, offering: a craft supply consignment store, a craft tool library, a communal artist and crafter's workspace, as well as demonstrations, workshops, and classes with a focus on collaboration, and mutual learning amongst the thriving artist and crafter community in WNC. Through its unique combin
ation of products and services, ACE aims to offer creative solutions to the economic and environmental concerns that can be a hindrance to those learning and practicing arts and crafts. By providing an accessible and inclusive hub, ACE aims to overcome financial barriers through affordable secondhand and salvage craft supplies. The implementation of a craft tool library will offer a space for creators to access specialized equipment, encouraging exploration and skill development while minimizing material waste. Through communal artist and crafter workspaces, ACE will foster collaboration, community building, and knowledge sharing. By offering demonstrations, workshops, and classes, ACE will facilitate learning and growth in an engaging and supportive environment.
