You can support a great cause by bidding on my necklace! Sisters in Circles helps keep girls in school in Uganda by providing education and skills so they can sew their own reusable sanitary pads. Often families can't afford them, so girls have to stay home during their period. I'll be going to Uganda in January to help OVA grow and reach more girls and women!

I've recently returned from an incredible 2-month trip to Uganda where I explored partnerships with women artisans- basket weavers, jewelry makers, tailors, and coffee farmers- for the development of a fair trade company. Ugandans are the most generous people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. These people welcomed me into their homes and hearts, they taught me how to weave and they showed me that Love is the greatest gift we can share with each other.
Here is Florence, a weaver in Fort Portal, Uganda. Her income helps pay for her children's' school fees.
